Speech Therapist - Full Time

About the Role

The Speech Therapist delivers quality patient care through assessments, prescribed treatments, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services as prescribed by a physician.
• Develop and maintain individualized evaluation and treatment plans aligned with patient goals.
• Coordinate care with healthcare team, including discharge planning.
• Ensure confidentiality and effective communication with staff, patients, and families.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and provide progress reports to physicians and stakeholders.
• Manage supplies and respond to emergencies.
• Promote health and train family members.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted SLP license in applicable states.
• CPR certification, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
• Compliance with health-related mandates, including vaccinations and testing, where applicable.

Qualifications

Preferably, one year of recent acute care experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
