Speech Therapist - Full Time

About the Role

The Speech Therapist delivers quality patient care based on physician orders, including assessments, treatments, care planning, and family education. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, manage supplies, handle emergencies, coordinate care, and promote health.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed Speech Therapy services.
• Follow policies, procedures, and care standards.
• Create evaluation reports outlining needs, goals, and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain a Plan of Care aligned with therapy objectives.
• Coordinate services with healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Maintain confidentiality and effective communication.
• Serve as a resource for clinical staff and provide progress reports to physicians.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted SLP license in applicable states.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of recent experience in an acute care setting.
