Speech Therapist - Full Time

Position Overview: The Speech Therapist provides quality patient care by conducting assessments, administering treatments, developing care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include communication with healthcare professionals and families, supply management, emergency response, health promotion, and family training. Key Duties Deliver prescribed Speech Therapy services adhering to policies, standards, and regulations.Generate evaluations, plans of care, and document goals and outcomes in collaboration with physicians.Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure effective communication within the care team and with families.Serve as a clinical resource for staff and participate in discharge planning and service coordination.Provide regular progress updates to physicians and the care team. Qualifications & Skills Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.Current, unrestricted SLP license in the practice state.Current CPR certification.Preferred: at least one year of recent experience in an acute care setting. Additional Information: The role involves full-time work Monday through Friday within Harrington and Dover—Kent County territories.
