Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - PRN

About the role

Seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy in home-based settings, including private residences, assisted living, and memory care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with language, motor speech, dysphagia, cognitive communication, voice disorders, and those needing augmentative communication.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Work primarily with patients who have experienced strokes, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and other neurological conditions.
• Provide expert speech therapy services in patients' homes, ensuring personalized care and effective communication support.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid state SLP license.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with automobile insurance.
• Ability to drive in various weather conditions and dependably maintain transportation.
• Must wear seat belts while driving.
