About the Role
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing skilled speech-language therapy in a home health setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, motor speech, dysphagia, cognitive communication, and voice disorders
- Work with individuals who have experienced strokes or progressive neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy within patients’ homes, including single or multi-family residences, assisted living, independent living, or memory care facilities
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance
- Dependable transportation and ability to drive in various weather conditions
- Must wear seat belts while driving
