Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - PRN

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy in home settings, including single or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care.
• Treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and those requiring alternative communication methods.
• Work with patients who have experienced strokes or have progressive conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia.
• Conduct patient evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans, and support patient communication and swallowing functions within a home-based care setting.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid state driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Dependable transportation in good condition, capable of driving in all weather conditions.
• Current licensure as an SLP in the state of employment.
• Ability to work independently and deliver therapy in diverse home environments.
