Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - PRN

About the role

This is a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position in a home health setting, focused on evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments
• Develop individualized care plans
• Provide evidence-based therapy
• Educate patients and caregivers
• Monitor progress and adjust treatments
• Document care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care in the home environment

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current licensure
• Minimum one year of clinical experience (home health preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Clinical judgment
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license
• CPR certification
• Experience with swallowing and cognitive-communication disorders (advantageous)
• Adaptability to home environments (advantageous)
