Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship (CFY)

About the Role

We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy services to pediatric patients (0-21 years) in home or daytime facility settings, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Define patients' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairments by selecting and administering appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient; advise and consult on specific speech therapy modalities and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training, printed materials, and in-service programs aligned with the total speech therapy program.
• Provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
• Experience in pediatrics (required).
• Home health experience (preferred).
• Feeding experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish (a plus).
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver’s license.
