Specialty Pharmacy Technician Call Center -Hybrid

Essential Responsibilities
- Answer in-bound calls and assist customers with pharmacy related services.
- Obtain client information by answering telephone calls; interviewing clients; verifying information.
- Contact patients to schedule medication deliveries and verify correct address information.
- Maintains new and existing patient profiles and enters new prescriptions into patient profiles.
- Escalates calls to pharmacist for clinical inquiries and escalates grievances to supervisor.
- Safeguard patient health information according to HIPAA & PHI guidelines.
- Contact insurance companies for benefit investigation and coverage eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A license as a Mass Registered Pharmacy Tech.
- One to three years of related work experience.
- Minimum three months of data entry experience.
- Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access.
Preferred Qualifications
- PTCB certification.
- Specialty Pharmacy experience.
- Pharmacy data entry and PBM Billing experience.

- Customer Service: Ability to provide high-level customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and external customers in a professional, service-oriented, respectful manner.
Physical Nature Of The Job
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move throughout the hospital campus.
Pay Range
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
