About the Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed or registered nurse. They ensure professional accountability for patient care and coordinate with other departments to deliver effective treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and implement care plans.
• Maintain licensure and certifications, including BLS and other unit-specific credentials.
• Assist with patient mobility, lifting, and repositioning, adhering to physical demands.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality care and safety.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience.
• Current LPN licensure and valid CPR certification.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• IV certification within one year of hire.
