Specialty LPN (Urology)

About the role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed healthcare professional, ensuring professional accountability and coordination with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active LPN license
• Preferably 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, especially in primary care

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, and perform duties that involve gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting

Certifications

• Must have BLS certification or complete it within 30 days of hire
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, and specialty certifications may be required based on the unit or role
