About the Role
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing patient care under supervision or with RN guidance.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care
- Coordinate with other departments
- Ensure professional accountability for assigned patients
- Provide direct patient care and support patient needs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members in a fast-paced clinical setting
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
- Current LPN license and ability to maintain licensure per state requirements
- Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) or completed within 30 days of hire
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending, stooping, and patient handling tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- IV certification within 1 year
- Unit-specific certifications as needed
