About the role
This role involves providing patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or with RN guidance. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care with other departments and maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients.
Key Duties
- Deliver patient care in an orthopedic clinic setting
- Maintain current LPN licensure and meet state requirements
- Obtain and uphold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and assisting with patient mobility
- Possibly acquire additional certifications like IV within one year
Qualifications And Skills
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
- New or experienced LPN welcome
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks
- Strong communication and coordination skills
