Work Location: Smalley, J. E. A. R. Elementary School, Henderson.
About the role
Specialized instructional assistant supporting students in the Primary Autism program.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the direction of the classroom teacher and special education team.
- Assist with instructional activities, behavior management, and daily living skills.
- Support students in both academic and social-emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all district policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must complete the entire three-year work history in the “Experience and Credentials” section of the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.
