About the Role
One-on-one assistant in the Least Restrictive Environment program, supporting special education students.
Schedule: 9 months per year, 6 hours per day.
Work Location: McDoniel, Estes M. ES (Henderson).
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or similar organization. Certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment and must include an in-person, hands-on component (online courses not accepted). A copy of the front and back of the certificate must be uploaded with the application.
Preferred Qualifications
- Signing abilities (for the hearing-impaired program).
- One year of experience working with special education children.

- High school transcript or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Current CPR/AED certificate (front and back).
- Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.
- Employment history for the past three years, including dates of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work (required for out-of-district applicants).
