About the role

The Intermediate Autism program is a nine-month, six-hour per week position located in Mathis, Beverly S. ES. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of autism spectrum disorders and the ability to support students in their learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Support students with autism in academic and social settings
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to provide consistent support
• Monitor student progress and report on performance regularly
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Pass a background check and health clearance
