About the role
Work you'll do As a Specialist Manager, Marketing on the GPS Marketing team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing strategic marketing plans that support business priorities and position Deloitte to compete in the government marketplace.
- Planning, launching, and measuring integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, generate leads, and evaluate return on investment.
- Leading content strategy and supporting research- and data-informed content development aligned to business objectives.
- Partnering with Government Sales and Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams to define target audiences, refine positioning, and activate paid and organic marketing programs.
- Serving as a marketing advisor across a matrixed organization to prioritize initiatives and deliver against strategic business needs.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, or Public Relations
- Required: 7+ years of experience in marketing strategy, business marketing planning, and communications
- Required: 4+ years of experience in the government professional services market
- Required: 2+ years of experience working across cross-functional teams
- Required: 2+ years of experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Required: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Required: Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Required: Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
- Required: Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
- Required: Ability to lead projects or workstreams
- Required: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Required: Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor

Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience developing and executing paid and organic marketing campaigns
- Preferred: Experience building content strategies informed by research and performance data
- Preferred: Experience supporting thought leadership initiatives, including white papers, events, and omnichannel campaigns
- Preferred: Experience managing creative teams or agency partners
- Preferred: Experience presenting campaign recommendations or results to senior leaders
- Preferred: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
