Position Summary
The Neurosurgery Sales Specialist will lead the growth of cranial implant and neurosurgical capital equipment portfolios within a defined territory. This role serves as a trusted clinical and business partner to neurosurgeons, hospital executives, supply chain leaders, and operating room staff, providing advanced product expertise, procedural support, and consultative selling throughout the sales cycle.
Responsibilities
- Calls on current customers and prospects; provides technical, marketing, and administrative product information and demonstrations; quotes appropriate customer prices using online quoting system.
- Provides product specific information for the best therapeutic outcome for patients. Effectively explains advanced characteristics and features of Neuro products to Operating Room staff & Surgeon.
- Provides clinical support in surgeries, troubleshooting, and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics.
- Provides training and in-services for Neurosurgical equipment.
- Responds to customer needs, requirements, and problems in accordance with Company policy, acts as liaison between customer and Neuro Business Unit, Customer Service, and Credit departments.
- Maintains account records and reports activities and submits as required.
- Manages and submits sales expenses in accordance with budget.

- Knowledge & Skills: Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles, and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action. Works under general supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training, and/or reviewing the work of other peers. Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems. Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management.
- Qualifications - Education/Experience/Training/Etc: Bachelor's degree required. 3 - 5 years related experience required. Regular and predictable attendance.
