Specialist II, Neurosurgery
Position Summary
The Specialist II, Neurosurgery is responsible for driving sales growth and providing clinical and technical support for Aesculap’s neurosurgical product portfolio within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Calls on current customers and prospects; provides technical, marketing, and administrative product information and demonstrations; quotes appropriate customer prices using online quoting system.
- Provides product specific information for the best therapeutic outcome for patients. Effectively explains advanced characteristics and features of assigned products to Operating Room staff & Surgeons.
- Provides clinical support in surgical procedures, troubleshooting, and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics.
- Provides training and in-services for assigned products.
- Responds to customer needs, requirements, and problems in accordance with Company policy, acts as liaison between customer and Business Unit, Customer Service, and Credit departments.
- Maintains account records and reports activities and submits as required.
- Manages and submits sales expenses in accordance with budget.

- Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field.
- Uses standard theories, principles, and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
- Works under general supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals.
- Judgment is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
- Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management.
- Qualifications - Education/Experience/Training/Etc
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2+ years of medical device sales experience selling to surgeons and hospital staff.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Preferred:
- Experience in Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Spine, ENT, and/or Plastics.

Pay
Salary Range: $90,000-$105,000 (plus incentive compensation)
