About the role

Our company is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our HR team and support employees and leaders throughout the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, pre-employment screening, employee records, and offboarding.
  • Cook up background checks, drug screenings, motor vehicle reports (MVRs), I-9 verification, and new hire processing.
  • Administer employee benefits and leave programs, including enrollments, life events, leave requests, return-to-work coordination, and employee inquiries.
  • Manage badge requests, renewals, replacements, and compliance tracking.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Process employment verifications, unemployment claims, and other employment-related documentation.
  • Aid managers and employees by answering HR-related questions and providing timely, professional support.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and company policies related to employment, benefits, and leave administration.
  • Perform audits and maintain documentation to ensure HR processes are accurate and compliant.
  • Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to support HR programs and initiatives.
  • Participate in special projects and continuously look for opportunities to improve HR processes.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one to two years of Human Resources or related administrative experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple HR functions, including onboarding, benefits, leave administration, employee records, or compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS Systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Pay

The wage range for Specialist Human Resources is $20.00 - $24.00.
