Specialist, Client Processing - Conventional Debt
About the role
This role is located in Pittsburgh and involves performing routine and non-routine client service and transactional support functions. You'll interact with other organizational units/teams to ensure timely delivery of service or resolution of issues. You'll process account related transactions per scheduled events/client authenticated direction, answer inquiries, and resolve problems or issues. You may escalate more complex situations to senior colleagues. You'll integrate area knowledge with industry standards and practices to provide solutions to both internal and external clients. You'll perform complex operational tasks in a product or functional area, including reconciliations, preparing transmission files, and coordinating with cross-functional groups.
Responsibilities
- Processes account related transactions per scheduled events/client authenticated direction
- Answers inquiries and resolves problems or issues
- Escalates more complex situations to senior colleagues
- Integrates area knowledge with understanding of industry standards and practices to provide solutions to internal and external clients
- Performs complex operational tasks in a product or functional area
- Responsible for reconciliations, including reconciling cash breaks, position differences, and gathering and compiling data
- May be responsible for allocating and checking work of team members
- May be responsible for specific supervisory review and approval actions
- Contributes to the achievement of team objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0-3 years of total work experience preferred
- Excellent communication and writing abilities
- Demonstrated ability to prepare transmission files and coordinate with cross-functional groups
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving, critical thinking, time management and communication
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and execute workload
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

Pay
The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting. Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
