Debt Management Specialist
About the role
This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity, reporting to the Rates and Revenue Manager, forming part of the Finance & Property team. You will work directly with ratepayers and debtors, providing professional and compassionate customer service, negotiating sustainable repayment arrangements and guiding customers through Council policies, procedures and debt management requirements. You will also maintain accurate records, manage debt-related systems, work closely with Council's mercantile agents and other stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement across debt management processes.

Pay
$93,361.40 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week.
Schedule
35-hour working week with flexible/hybrid work arrangements/model as well as an optional 9-day fortnight.
