About the role

Riddleberger Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Special Projects Technician 1 with mechanical skills to join their team. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $30.50 per hour, with a potential annual salary of $41,600 to $63,440. Responsibilities

• Follow and adhere to all company safety requirements and processes
• Install per manufacturer specifications and company policies: manual dampers and supporting hardware, flex and sheet metal ductwork and associated duct fittings in light commercial and residential buildings
• Copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering
• HVAC related equipment including split systems and roof top units up to 20 tons
• Wiring of both low and line voltage to heating and cooling equipment
• Accurately complete required job documentation in a timely manner
• Work with other team members and departments to meet job/project deadlines and specifications

Requirements

• High school or trade school graduate or have a GED
• Hold a Universal Refrigerant certificate or be willing to obtain
• HVAC installation experience a plus
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy

Qualifications

Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, work at heights, frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs., climb and work on ladders, scaffolding and stairs, stand for long periods of time as well as stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl in order to work in tight spaces, work within confined spaces, communicate effectively with employees and customers, and use hands to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects.
