About the role

Riddleberger Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Special Projects Technician 1 with mechanical skills to join their team. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $30.50 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death & dismemberment, health care and dependent day care FSAs, HSA, EAP, Roth IRA, pet insurance, annual bonus, generous vacation, holidays, and sick time. Responsibilities

• Follow and adhere to all company safety requirements and processes
• Install per manufacturer specifications and company policies: manual dampers and supporting hardware, flex and sheet metal ductwork and associated duct fittings in light commercial and residential buildings
• Copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering
• HVAC related equipment including split systems and roof top units up to 20 tons
• Wiring of both low and line voltage to heating and cooling equipment
• Accurately complete required job documentation in a timely manner
• Work with other team members and departments to meet job/project deadlines and specifications

Requirements

• High school or trade school graduate or have a GED
• Hold a Universal Refrigerant certificate or be willing to obtain
• Have HVAC installation experience a plus
• Valid driver's license and meet company driver qualification policy

Qualifications

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to climb and work on ladders, scaffolding and stairs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl in order to work in tight spaces
• Ability to work within confined spaces
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers
• Ability to use hands to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects

Pay

Competitive pay: $20.00 - $30.50 an hour or $41,600 - $63,440 a year
