About Sailor Health

Sailor Health is building a new care model for aging that combines behavioral health, healthcare advocacy, wellness classes, and AI care agents into one virtual platform designed for older adults. AI coaches help patients navigate their health between visits, while AI copilots give providers the tools to deliver higher quality, better informed care. The company partners with Medicare to make the platform affordable and accessible nationwide. Sailor has exceptional product‑market fit: exponential growth serving thousands of patients across all 50 states, a AI‑powered yet deeply human approach, and a talent‑dense 25‑person NYC team backed by the founders of Ramp, Nourish, Headway, Charlie Health, and Spring Health.

About the Role

Location: New York City, in office, 5 days a week. We’re hiring a Special Projects Lead, Product & Growth to build the engine behind Sailor’s newest distribution channel: provider partnerships. You’ll pair with the Director of Provider Partnerships and work hand in hand with our Provider Partnership Managers (PPMs), the people who bring Sailor to physician groups and clinics across the country. Our PPMs are the front line of this channel. Your job is to make each of them dramatically more effective with AI, then turn what works into a playbook, a team, and an infrastructure that can scale far beyond where we are today.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the work: spend real time with PPMs – riding along on field visits, sitting in on calls, mapping how a partnership moves from first conversation to a steady flow of referred patients; identify where time gets lost, where deals stall, and where a better tool or process would change the outcome.
  • Build the product: vibe‑code a web app for PPMs, design data workflows so each PPM knows which practices to prioritize, where each partnership stands, and what to do next; pull in engineers when needed but default to shipping.
  • Build the playbook and scale the team: capture best PPM practices into a repeatable system (playbook, onboarding manual, training, coaching) to ramp new hires quickly; help shape hiring profile and ramp plan for the PPM team.
  • Build for hyper scale: design infrastructure for 10x growth (territory design, capacity planning, reporting, systems to maintain quality); quarterback field collateral (one‑pagers, practice onboarding kits).

Requirements

  • 3 to 9 years of experience across product, strategy, analytics, or operations (startup product/ops, consulting, data‑heavy growth role).
  • Built things people actually used.
  • Strong data background: fluent in SQL, comfortable building dashboards and models others rely on; able to find signal in messy data and explain it simply.
  • Real product mindset: talk to users, spot the problem behind the request, ship something that fits into someone’s day; care more about adoption than elegance; vibe code and ship; already building with AI tools and want to do it as a core part of the job.
  • High EQ: build trust quickly, listen well, coach without feeling like oversight; comfortable with physician groups.
  • Scrappy and structured: prefer quick tests over lengthy debate; turn learnings into processes, playbooks, scalable systems.
  • Deep empathy for the people we serve (patients 65+ navigating complex mental and physical health care).

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity
  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental & vision insurance
  • Flexible PTO and sick days
  • Lunch and dinner in our beautiful Soho office covered by Sailor
  • Team building events
  • Additional: One Medical Membership for US employees, HSA, Talkspace, HealthAdvocate, Teladoc Health
