About the role
This position involves performing complex and specialized imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries. You will act as an assistant during invasive radiological interventions, ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media as required.
- Ensure optimal image quality and perform quality assurance on equipment.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols.
- Monitor patient data and report any equipment issues.
- Provide emergency on-call coverage as needed.
- Maintain safety for patients and staff during procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver compassionate, personalized care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current Texas Medical Board license.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration.
- Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
