About the role

This role involves performing specialized and invasive radiologic procedures to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries. The technician prepares patients, explains procedures, administers contrast agents if needed, positions patients, and ensures high-quality imaging while adhering to radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient data during procedures
• Perform equipment quality assurance
• Report any malfunctions or incidents
• Take emergency call as required
• Support department goals and initiatives
• Mentor less experienced staff members

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current licensure by the relevant medical board
• Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support
• Ability to lift and maneuver patients safely
