Welcome to The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa, a legendary property in the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio located in the heart of Riverside, California. Featuring 238 guest rooms and over 160,000 sq ft of meeting and event space, this AAA Four-Diamond, National Historic Landmark spans an entire city block and offers a truly unique and dynamic environment for hospitality professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting clients as they enter the Spa
  • Providing clients with tours and information related to the Facility and its features
  • Aiding guests in preparing for their treatments
  • Cooking with the therapists to provide timely services
  • Aiding guests in booking treatments, either by phone or in person and recording the transactions in the appropriate area
  • Thoroughly understanding and adhering to proper credit, check cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Spa services, products, and procedures
  • Reporting any accidents or injuries to the Security Department
  • Monitoring the spa and fitness room for cleanliness, safety, and providing direction or instruction when appropriate

Requirements

  • Someone with or the ability to obtain a CPR and First Aide certification preferred
  • Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality
  • Someone with a strong attention to detail
  • Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
  • Someone with excellent communication skills
  • Someone who can frequent bend, push/pull, and lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Someone with a flexible schedule that allows them to work weekends and holidays

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a hospitality or service-oriented field is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of spa services, products, and procedures
