Sourcing Recruiter - Space Vehicles (Fixed-Term)

This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations. As a member of the Talent Acquisition team supporting Blue Origin's Space Vehicles division, you will recruit highly specialized engineering talent in areas of Structural, Mechanical, Avionics and Electrical Engineering, as well as roles requiring a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing models and plans to generate talent pools, networks and pipelines; create and execute robust search strategies, calibrate candidates with hiring managers
• Develop prospects into candidates. Engage, sustain relationships, screen and interview
• Partner with hiring managers, business unit leaders and other members of Team Blue by leading and participating in scoping discussions, weekly tag ups and candidate debriefs
• Prepare/contribute to search status reports and lead/participate in client update meetings on active searches
• Dive deep with an inquisitive mindset into the technical requirements of the requisitions and business units you will be supporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent of experience in recruiting
• 5+ years of Technical Recruiting experience to include Engineering, Manufacturing, or IT positions
• Strong professional communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence and advise business leaders
• Demonstrated success in generating leads using a variety of platforms and sourcing methods
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing, Space, Aerospace and Defense, Oil & Gas, Nuclear Power, Technology, Aviation industries
• Proficiency with Workday
• Exempt and non-exempt position recruiting experience
• Combination of agency and corporate environment recruiting experience
• High volume recruiting experience
• Startup experience

Pay

Base Pay Range for WA applicants is $112,059.00 - $156,882.60. Other site ranges may differ.

• Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check (required for certain job profiles if the role requires access to a military installation)
• Additional requirements for drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles (e.g., Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification, Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements if applicable, hazardous materials transportation/shipping training)
• Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, including pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical (required for certain job profiles)
