Sorter - 2nd Shift

Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials.
• Sort recycled material onto different conveyor belts and move material to the appropriate areas.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.
• Maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.
• Assuming custodial duties as needed.
• Perform other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Pay

Pay rate: $17.00/hr plus approximately 10 or so hours of overtime weekly. (overtime is time and a half after 40)

Schedule

2:00pm start time, usually finishing around 10:30-11:00pm. Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.
