Groot Industries, a subsidiary of Waste Connections, is hiring for a 2nd Shift Sorter at their recycling facility in Elk Grove Village, IL.
Responsibilities
- Sort recycled material onto different conveyor belts and move material to the appropriate areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.
- Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.
- Assume custodial duties as needed.
- Perform other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to perform minimal computer-related tasks.
- Must be able to stand continually through entire shift.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Pay
$21.75 per hour.
