Recycling Works has an immediate opening in Elkhart, Indiana.

About the role

Join our team as a 2nd Shift Recycle Center Sorter. This position involves safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials, maintaining cleanliness, and performing various manual labor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sort recycled material onto different conveyor belts and move material to the appropriate areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.
• Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.
• Perform custodial duties as needed.
• Perform other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Pay

$17.00/hour plus approximately 10 hours of overtime weekly (overtime is time and a half after 40).

Schedule

2:00 PM start time, normally finishing around 10:30–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays.
