About the role
This position is available for a sonography student in their final year of an accredited program to gain on-the-job training while maintaining their current schedule.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Assumes responsibility for staying informed about policy changes.
- Participates in departmental in-service and educational offerings.
- Performs or assists in performing quality ultrasound examinations under supervision.
- Schedules procedures and maintains appropriate records.
- Collaborates with other departments as needed.
- Assists with room preparation and restocking of supplies.
- Engages in educational activities to improve patient care.
- Ensures age/developmentally appropriate care for patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an AMA or CMA accredited program in diagnostic ultrasound.
- CPR certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $29.70 per hour.
Schedule
Sonography students' schedules will be based on their current school schedule of classroom time and clinical rotations. The position is PRN (per request).
