Sonographer OBGYN (73150)

About the role

The Sonographer at Women's Care performs ultrasound examinations and records findings, including routine exams, specialized procedures, and evaluations. They also complete fetal surveys, hysterosonograms, and 3D-4D scans, documenting and updating patient information in the electronic medical record.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized ultrasound exams
• Completes nuchal translucency scans according to established standards and guidelines
• Performs hysterosonograms and 3D-4D scans
• Evaluates image quality and interprets findings
• Documents and updates patient information in the electronic medical record
• Treats customers in a courteous and cooperative manner
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development
• Demonstrates and embodies Women's Care's mission and core values
• Complies with HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OBGYN experience
• Experience with 3D-4D scans
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, providers, and patients
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in the electronic medical record system (eCW a plus)
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual

Qualifications
