Sonographer OBGYN (72869)

About the role

The Sonographer at Women's Care performs ultrasound examinations and records findings, including routine exams, specialized procedures, fetal surveys, hysterosonograms, 3D-4D scans, and evaluates images for quality and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine ultrasound exams and specialized procedures as directed.
• Completes nuchal translucency scans according to established standards and guidelines.
• Performs hysterosonograms and 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates ultrasound images for quality and interprets findings.
• Documents and updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Treats customers in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development.
• Demonstrates and embodies Women's Care’s mission and core values.
• Complies with HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OBGYN experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, providers, and patients.
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system (eCW preferred).
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual.
