Sonographer OBGYN (72252)

About the role

The Sonographer at Women's Care performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, specialized procedures, fetal surveys, hysterosonograms, 3D-4D scans, and evaluates the images for quality and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality and interprets the captured information.
• Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner.
• Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Complies with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OBGYN experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers, and patients in a courteous and effective manner.
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system (eCW a plus).
• Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
