About the role

The Sonographer at Women's Care performs ultrasound examinations and records findings, including routine exams, specialized procedures, and evaluations. Duties also include completing fetal surveys, hysterosonograms, and 3D-4D scans, documenting results in the electronic medical record, and representing the clinic professionally.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized ultrasound exams
• Completes nuchal translucency scans according to established standards and guidelines
• Performs hysterosonograms and 3D-4D scans
• Evaluates image quality and interprets findings
• Documents and updates patient information in the electronic medical record
• Treats customers courteously and cooperatively
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities
• Demonstrates and embodies Women's Care's mission and core values
• Complies with HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification
• Minimum of 2 years recent OBGYN experience
• Experience with 3D-4D scans
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, providers, and patients
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in the electronic medical record system (eCW a plus)
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual
