Position Overview

The Sales Engineer (SE) for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia will serve as the technical liaison between Trend Micro's Sales Representatives and their pre-sales customers. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, risks, and technology gaps, and the ability to guide customers in selecting and deploying Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions.

Primary Responsibility

  • Understand the customer journey with product and its experience, helping customers navigate it smoothly
  • Drive customer success throughout the engagement, onboarding, and product experience journey
  • Build and train the sales organization, becoming an excellent storyteller to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Leverage channel partners by upscaling and training them for customer engagement
  • Stay updated on new products and technologies to share with internal sales staff
  • Collaborate with regional and global product managers and product marketing managers to stay informed on the latest product and technology insights
  • Deliver engaging technical demonstrations, using strong messaging, presentation skills, and public speaking
  • Encourage and empower channel partners to propose, position, and convince customers with Trend Micro products and solutions
  • Present complex technical issues and solutions to all organizational levels in a meaningful, engaging, and digestible manner
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to design solutions that address customer needs
  • Develop close relationships to influence the customer's technical strategy
  • Train customers and prospects on Trend Micro solutions
  • Work with company technical support personnel to ensure ongoing quality of support and customer health
  • Contribute to departmental best practices, strategies, methodologies, and documentation for increased efficiency
  • Participate in webinars, workshops, and other industry events as a speaker or panelist

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of rich experience in delivering high-quality presales support and solutions
  • Bring unique value to customers through a strong understanding of SOC operations, security analytics capabilities, cloud architecture, cloud-native application security, SASE, CASB, Zero Trust model
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft O365, Azure, Google, AWS services
  • Experience with security software solutions such as firewalls, content security, intrusion prevention, encryption, data leakage, and data protection and monitoring security
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English
  • A strong interest in all aspects of cybersecurity and a passion for customer security
  • Excellent understanding of public cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
