Solutions Analyst

About The Role

The Solutions Analyst will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design scalable solutions, and support the successful implementation of technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Responsibility for the IT solution architecture and design incorporating the engineering solution, operational, and customer-specific requirements.
• Produce Functional Specifications to support the delivery of new business projects, business Change Requests, and customer change requests.
• Work closely with Customers, IT Analyst team, Business Development teams, Engineering, Process Engineering, and Operational teams.
• Facilitate solution design workshops.
• Perform business analysis, gap review, impact assessment, and documentation of Functional Requirements.
• Design practical, efficient, cost-effective solutions providing options with benefits, risks, and recommendations. Solutions must consider geography, time, budget, resources, customer constraints, volumes, skills, and available technologies.
• Complete Functional Specifications to meet solution design and customer requirements with appropriate sign-offs.
• Communicate and liaise with all key stakeholders.
• Serve as the subject matter expert and point of contact for the overall solution throughout the project life-cycle.
• Support and assist project test phases – QA, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing.
• Facilitate and support onsite deployments through warranty periods.
• Act as liaison and point of contact between operations and the software development team.
• Manage, diagnose, and prioritize issue logging in conjunction with the IT Project Manager.
• Perform Integration Analysis to support the integration of DP World applications with Customer systems.
• Support solution deployments from concept through live/warranty phase.
• Review and approve delivered software prior to promotion into production environments.
• Support delivery of projects through to closure of the warranty phase.
• Available to travel internationally to support customer deployments as required.

Requirements

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or relevant industry experience (5+ years in an IT-related role within Logistics/Supply Chain).
• Proven track record of 5+ years in delivery of complex Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, and Logistics solutions within a 3PL or commercial WMS environment.
