Solution Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Implement complex new products and services for the business
• Analyze requirements and gather requirements needed for implementation
• Understand current processes utilized by end users
• Design and document to be process for end user
• Assess and document requirements while adhering to established procedures
• Demonstration and training on new products and services for the business
• May provide support for a period of time
• Verify solution is performing as expected after implementation
• Utilize details provided to establish specific information needed for end solution
• Covers data for validation in testing environments
• Conducts testing to verify solution is working as expected
• Works on multiple items/projects simultaneously
• Escalates challenges and issues in timely manner
• Ensures positive outcome for business
• Work as key member of project teams
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with project team members as well as business or end users
• Create training materials for new solutions
• Troubleshoot and support implemented solutions
• Serve as product expert for different systems in portfolio
• Collaborate with different team and department members in analyzing solutions/features
• Create needed test scripts for testing of new application/product

Qualifications

• Formal Education & Certification: 4-year College or University degree required or at least 4 years’ experience in industry or similar field in lieu of degree
• Knowledge & Experience: (at least 2 years with each of the following) (can be concurrently)
• Experience in the operation and analysis of software systems and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies
• Extensive experience with core software applications
• Working technical knowledge of SQL (Preferred)
• Previous training experience
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
• Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
• Prior transportation experience (Preferred)
