What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum of two years of energy industry experience
- Ability to deliver time-sensitive work products that meet the requirements of internal stakeholders.
- Ability to promptly respond to dynamic requirements from internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and the expectations of internal stakeholders.
- Problem solving, strong analytical and statistical skills.
- Understanding of energy market fundamentals, including load properties, (e.g., usage, demand, load factor, voltage, losses, and read cycles) and deregulated market design preferred.
- Experience handling and managing issues with large quantities of electric usage data preferred.
- Able to accurately process and analyze customer account and historical usage data to identify anomalies and fundamental changes to be used and reflected in forecasting, pricing, and contracting.
- Able to perform data manipulation related to incomplete or flawed load data or related to load adjustments.
- Able to work with utilities and internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, pricing, and IT) to meet deadlines and to comply with existing quality standards.
- Intermediate or better knowledge of MS Excel.
- Able to extract, manage, and analyze large data sets.
- Able to use data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.
- Basic or better knowledge of Oracle or Microsoft SQL preferred.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and statistical packages (Python, SAS, R, or similar) preferred.
