Solution Analyst

About the role

Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define, document, and validate business and technical requirements—translating complex needs into clear, actionable direction that aligns with broader business goals. Own the creation and maintenance of key delivery artifacts, including solution design documents, process flows, data dictionaries, requirements traceability matrices, and user story backlogs. Decompose requirements into succinct, sprint-ready user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, driving consistent and high-quality solution delivery. Facilitate Agile ceremonies—including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and stand-ups—and support cross-functional teams in adhering to Agile and SDLC frameworks. Model and document current and future-state business processes using industry-standard techniques such as BPMN, swimlane diagrams, and workflow mapping. Leverage emerging automation and AI capabilities—including AI writing assistants, automated transcription, and workflow automation tools—to accelerate discovery documentation, user story generation, and cross-team communication. Act as a liaison across business and technical delivery teams, ensuring alignment, shared understanding, and clear traceability from requirements through to delivered solutions. Support product ideation, discovery, and solution design through data profiling, rapid prototyping, and exploratory analysis. Proactively identify and escalate risks, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across one or more concurrent client engagements. Contribute to team development by supporting and mentoring junior analysts, sharing delivery knowledge, and helping to elevate practice standards across the team.

Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or related consulting roles. - Proven ability to author and manage user stories and product backlogs. - Proficiency with delivery and collaboration tooling. - Strong command of process modeling techniques. - Experience with technical product decomposition and risk management. - Analytical fluency, including data profiling and BI tools. - Strong client management and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple workstreams and context-switching.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Certification in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or related field preferred. - Experience with Agile delivery models and SDLC. - Knowledge of BPMN, swimlane diagrams, and workflow mapping. - Familiarity with data storytelling and BI tools. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
