SolidWorks Designer II - Conveyors
About the role
As a SolidWorks Designer, you will operate all computer-aided design (CAD) systems and peripheral equipment, including SolidWorks. You will exercise considerable skill in using graphics commands and preprogrammed materials to develop drawings for equipment, sheet metal, and piping. Create quick actions utilizing the command language of the system to assist in drawing creation. Specify and purchase materials for projects. Perform routine to complex assignments requiring a thorough knowledge of computer-aided drafting system standards, practices, and techniques. Develop increased proficiency in system operation to boost productivity and learn how to use all software options.
Analyze sketches, notes, and other input materials to determine the best approach for completing drawings. Apply judgment and make decisions regarding drawings and input interpretation. Review work performed to ensure accuracy with input from a supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Operate CAD systems and peripheral equipment, primarily SolidWorks

Requirements
- 2+ years of SolidWorks experience in the manufacturing industry
- Experience in conveyors design preferred
- AutoCAD experience preferred, not required
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proven math, accuracy, and detail-orientation skills
- Proven verbal and written communication skills

Pay
Pay Range: $23.07 - $34.60 per hour. The actual salary offer will vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
