Responsibilities
- Prepares and lays out materials for installation
- Identify shortages in material and equipment
- Sets up all layouts for targeted conveyor installations per the system drawings
- Install all conveyors to the customer specific drawings and specifications
- Responsible for the proper packaging, identifying and moving of all finished products to the proper location
- Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use
- Performs first piece inspections as well as all subsequent inspections
Requirements
- Minimum High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience in conveyor installation
- Thorough knowledge of the standard tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices of the trade
- Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of welding, steam fitting, and insulation trades
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with personnel of other departments
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and to work from sketches, diagrams, blueprints, and broken parts
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Skill in the use and care of tools and equipment used on work assignments
- Construction knowledge; high energy level; professionalism
Qualifications
- Full Time position; hourly with benefits
- Work Schedule: 45+ hours per week. Which may include evenings and weekends
- This position will work from jobsites throughout the United States with the home office based out of Memphis, TN and report directly to the General Superintendent, substantial travel is required.
