Mechanic
Job Summary
We are hiring a Diesel Mechanic in Geismar, LA. The position offers a competitive salary range of $26.00 - $32.00 per hour, quarterly incentive bonuses, and comprehensive family benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance.
What You Will Contribute
You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing equipment to ensure all equipment meets DOT standards and safety protocols. You will implement creative solutions to ensure smooth equipment flow and collaborate with the team to cultivate a "Safety First" environment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in highway equipment maintenance
- Experience with a variety of basic hand, power tools, and equipment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Class A CDL with HazMat; DOT brake certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in transportation regulations
- Digital literacy: Comfort with Google Chrome, TMT, and on-board diagnostic systems
- Expert with solid diagnostic experience in ABS and DEF systems
- Familiarity with maintenance software
- Familiarity or interest in cryogenics
