About the role

Fluent Conveyors is considered as one of the leading engineering and manufacturing conveyor companies in the United States. The company engineers and manufactures roller chain belt conveyors, slider bed conveyors, trough idler conveyors, custom conveyors, package handling conveyors, sort systems & custom sort systems. Fluent Conveyors is also a national distributor of replacement conveyor belts, pulleys, motors, e-stops, controls, shafts and more!

Responsibilities

  • Have in-depth knowledge of Industrial Conveyors, Parts & Belts
  • Have in-depth knowledge of industrial conveyors and manufacturing processes (CNC, laser, welding, programming etc)
  • Design equipment to be more economical while improving or meeting the current product quality
  • Produce, improve and maintain controlled technical documents for conveyors and conveyor systems
  • Communicate (written and verbal) with both customers and other departments to ensure the Conveyor System meets the customer requirements for quality, compliance and safety
  • Support the manufacturing team and work directly with them to ensure project accuracy, punctuality and quality as well as improve the equipment design
  • Develop and incorporate unique sales strategies that fit your personality to ensure customer engagement is always increasing
  • Build and maintain a multi-level contact process for C-Level executives within each organization (CEO, CFO, COO etc)
  • Handle field measurements for replacement conveyor belts, replacement parts, complete recycling system or conveyor replacements
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure all technicalities are 100% covered between both the customer and dealer before starting a project
  • Develop relationships with industry leaders
  • Help customers get the correct measurements for sprockets, shafts, bearings, belts, pulleys, safety equipment etc.
  • Deliver both positive and critical feedback to all team members to ensure we continue to grow and enhance our product line
  • Navigate and solve complex customer issues when they arise and always remain positive
  • Present complex projects to executive groups and close opportunities that may exceed 1MM

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree (mechanical engineering or equivalent)
  • Highly motivated to make money
