Solar Operator III

Mortenson is seeking a Solar Operator III responsible for operating equipment as directed and specified while adhering to safety regulations.

• Fulfills safety regulations
• Maintains assigned area with clear and orderly housekeeping
• Performs routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning
• Monitors equipment operation for malfunctions
• Follows work plans and pre-task cards
• Operates various equipment as required by the project:
• Grader
• Dozer
• Cable Plow
• Excavator
• Backhoe
• Trackhoe
• Loader
• Forklift/Telehandler
• Bobcat/Skid-steer

Qualifications

• Required certifications for equipment
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Current driver's license with necessary endorsements
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, customer service skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, manuals, and load charts
• Basic mathematical skills for operating and maintaining equipment
• Independent work capability with active listening and communication skills
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs with assistance

Pay Range

The base pay range for this role is $27 - $34 per hour. (Higher ranges apply to certain office locations.)
