SUMMARY
Mortenson is seeking an Operator III responsible for operating equipment as directed and specified while adhering to safety regulations.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follows prescribed safety regulations
- Ensures assigned area is kept clear and orderly
- Performs routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning
- Observes equipment operation for malfunctions
- Follows work plans and pre-task cards
- Operates the following equipment as required by the project:
- Mini Excavator
- Backhoe
- Trackhoe
- Loader
- Forklift/Telehandler
- Bobcat/Skid-steer
QUALIFICATIONS
- Equipment certifications as required
- Minimum five years of related experience
- Current driver’s license with necessary endorsements
- Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, and attention to detail
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
- Ability to work independently, listen actively, and communicate effectively
- Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
