Solar Operator I - Saddle

SUMMARY

Mortenson is seeking an Operator I responsible for operating equipment as directed and specified while adhering to safety policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• A. Operate the following equipment based on the requirements of the project:
  • Forklift/Telehandler
  • Bobcat/Skid-steer
• B. Follow prescribed safety regulations
• C. Maintain assigned area in a clear and orderly fashion
• D. Perform routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning
• E. Detect and report equipment malfunctions
• F. Adhere to work plans and pre-task cards
• G. Build relationships with diverse colleagues and organizational levels
• H. Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required equipment certifications
• Minimum one (1) year of related experience
• Current driver’s license with necessary endorsements
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, customer service skills, and attention to detail
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to operate equipment safely
• Effective communication and independent work abilities
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
