Solar Operator

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Solar Operator to manage equipment operations and adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Follows prescribed safety regulations
• Maintains assigned areas in a clear and orderly fashion
• Performs routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning
• Monitors equipment operation for malfunctions
• Operates various pieces of equipment as per project requirements:
• Mini Excavator
• Backhoe
• Trackhoe
• Loader
• Forklift/Telehandler
• Bobcat/Skid-steer
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Required certifications for equipment used
• Minimum three years of related experience
• Current driver’s license with necessary endorsements
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
• Basic math skills for operational tasks
• Independent work capability with active listening and communication skills
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs with assistance
